School Holidays in Turkey 2025-2026 (tentative dates)
Below are the school holidays in Turkey 2025-2026. The dates are given in the format in which they are usually published on the official portal of the Ministry of Education. We remind you that this information is preliminary.
- Summer holidays 2025 – from Monday 23 June to Friday 5 September 2025.
- The first semester break will be from Monday 17 November to Friday 21 November 2026.
- Midterm break – from Monday 26 January to Friday 6 February 2026.
- The second semester break will be from Monday 20 April to Friday 24 April 2026.
- Summer holidays 2026 – from Monday, June 22, 2026.
Actual dates of school holidays in Turkey 2025-2026 (tentative)
The actual dates of school holidays differ from the official dates. This is because children do not attend school on Saturdays and Sundays. Therefore, the actual holiday periods last 4 days longer than the officially declared school holidays in Turkey 2025. Below are the actual dates of the holiday periods in Turkish schools (based on preliminary data).
- Summer holidays 2025 – from Saturday 21 June to Sunday 7 September 2025.
- The first semester break will be from Saturday 15 November to Sunday 23 November 2026.
- Midterm break – from Saturday 24 January to Sunday 8 February 2026.
- The second semester break will be from Saturday 18 April to Sunday 26 April 2026.
- Summer holidays 2026 – from Saturday, June 20, 2026.
