Below are the school holidays in Turkey 2025-2026. The dates are given in the format in which they are usually published on the official portal of the Ministry of Education. We remind you that this is not preliminary information, but officially approved.
- Summer holidays 2025 – from Monday 23 June to Friday 5 September 2025.
- The first semester break will be from Monday 10 November to Friday 14 November 2025.
- Midterm break – from Monday 19 January to Friday 30 January 2026.
- The second semester break will be from Monday 16 March to Friday 20 March 2026.
- Summer holidays 2026 – from Monday, June 29, 2026.
Actual dates of school holidays in Turkey 2025-2026 (accurate information)
The actual dates of school holidays differ from the official dates. This is because children do not attend school on Saturdays and Sundays. Therefore, the actual holiday periods last 4 days longer than the officially declared school holidays in Turkey 2025-2026. Below are the actual dates of the holiday periods in Turkish schools (based on data from the Ministry of National Education).
- Summer holidays 2025 – from Saturday 21 June to Sunday 7 September 2025.
- The first semester break will be from Saturday 8 November to Sunday 16 November 2026.
- Midterm break – from Saturday 17 January to Sunday 1 February 2026.
- The second semester break will be from Saturday 14 March to Sunday 22 March 2026.
- Summer holidays 2026 – from Saturday, June 27, 2026.
