Below are the school holidays in Turkey 2024-2025. The dates are officially approved and published on the official portal of the Ministry of Education. We publish them in strict accordance with the original.
- Summer holidays 2024 – from Monday 17 June to Friday 6 September 2024.
- The first semester break will be from Monday 11 November to Friday 15 November 2024.
- Midterm break – from Monday 20 January to Friday 31 January 2025.
- The second semester break will be from Monday 31 March to Friday 4 April 2025.
- Summer holidays 2025 – from Monday 23 June to Friday 5 September 2025.
Actual dates of school holidays in Turkey 2024-2025
The actual dates of school holidays differ from the official dates. This is because children do not attend school on Saturday and Sunday. Therefore, the actual holiday periods last 4 days longer than the officially declared school holidays in Turkey 2025.
- Summer holidays 2024 – from Saturday 15 June to Sunday 8 September 2024.
- The first semester break will be from Saturday 9 November to Sunday 17 November 2024.
- Midterm break – from Saturday 18 January to Sunday 2 February 2025.
- The second semester break will be from Saturday 29 March to Sunday 6 April 2025.
